Hi all! Welcome to the 2020 Summer Reading Program for Flower Library. This year, we're going digital. Using a digital platform will help us keep registration simple and help you track your reading from home.
This program is designed for teens ages 13-18. Your job? Read, read, read to earn points! Once you're earned enough points you'll earn tickets that can entered into some fantastic prize drawings.
After you create your account, you'll use READsquared to track how long you read each day. 1 hour of reading = 1 point Every time you earn 4 points you will earn 1 ticket for the grand prize drawings (held on August 31).
You'll still need to contact the library in some way to claim your tickets and select which prize you'd like to try to win. You can do any of the following:
- Visit us in person. A staff member will guide you through the process once you arrive.
- Call 315-785-7714 and speak to Ms. Ashley.
- Email Ms. Ashley at apickett@ncls.org
Please note that if the library is not open or you can't make it in, it's OK to just keep reading and collect all of your tickets later. All tickets must be claimed by the close of business on August 29.
And for those wondering about prize options? :) They include:
- The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins, Bluetooth earbuds, and a $15 Google Play gift card
